Change.org has invited us to participate in a series of talks, to be held at their headquarters, gathering the main candidates to the June 2016 elections. Albert Rivera from ‘Ciudadanos’ was the first to attend. I had the opportunity to explain the reasons for my request and to explain the situation of children with DCS in terms of the lack of rehabilitation resources by the Social Security.
His response was that he committed himself at the national level, if he got elected to include the necessary rehabilitation in the Portfolio of Services. He added that it is very important to refer the matter to the Interterritorial Council for approval thus guaranteeing the same resources in all the Autonomous Regions and avoid inequalities. if he doesn’t get elected he undertakes to promote a NLP that will urge the Government in this regard. He recommends drafting a “positive” economic report.
